Celeb Inspired: Accessories

Hey y'all fab ladies, as you all know this blog is mainly about inspired items. Gathering a number of products I will now post about various items a lot of celebs are rocking. This edition will be about accessories! ENJOY!

I will start with the Cassie inspired 'bullet hoop earrings'. Cassie was rocking these earrings at the Paris Fashion Week!

 As many of you know BBW earrings are the IT-things now! These earrings were introduced by Evelyn Lozada who worn them during the show. She also sold the earrings in her shop 'Dulce'. The earrings she wore and sold were made by POParazzi! Many cast members wore and still wear these hot earrings. Draya is a spokesmodel for POParazzi aswell as ItsRichGirlz who also makes these earrings and more!

Despite the fact that I wasn't born and bred in Africa, I feel and I am African inside out ! And I'm all crazy about African inspired looks. The beautiful prints, the touch of the fabric, I love everything ! One of my favourite items when it comes to these looks is the head wrap. Been loving head wraps since way back, I'm sure every African girl's mum use to rock these to church, most still do. But who would have thought our household wrap would become a fashion forward item. It can be wrapped in various styles, covering ur whole head or partially. Depends on the way you want it. The reason why I felt the head wrap should become a GdV item is because I got a lot of positive feedback from people on the streets when I rocked my head wrap. Mainly asking what shop I got it from and how much it cost etc.

Been a while since we have updated  you guys on GdV items. We are still working hard on them and look forward to posting alot more of our items, so please bare with us.

This particular item is one I like alot ! As you can see, it is a layered necklace that comes in the colour gold. This type of  necklace is one I'm sure all of us have seen before, whether it be pearls or just normal chains. Its just one of those items u cant go wrong with.

With a necklace like this it is important to make sure that the rest of your look is lowkey, as it already draws alot of attention. Picture yourself with a tight hairbun, white tanktop and a bright coloured maxi skirt, adding this necklace to give the whole look a bit more character. Or even on a night out, rocking a daring black dress with this necklace to give your look a bit more ‘’umpf’’.  Either way you cant go wrong !

As y'all already know I love Draya and whatever shes up to. Yesterday she posted 2 pics of her on Twitter wearing a Canadian designer called Mark Fast. Mark Fast is a 30 year old Canadian knitwear designer who has worked with Swarovski, Topshop, Christian Louboutin and more! He got them celebs looking extra hot these days.

During Basketball Wives LA Draya talked about her new business venture Mint Swim. She showed us samples of fabrique she wanted to use. Well her site : Mint Swim is now up and from 30th of May, we can actually shop Mint Swim. Mint Swim is only producing 800 units per collection and I got a few pics for you to peek into the new collection of Mint Swim! The suits are for $75 a piece!
